Before Naturally Natz JA ever had a name, it had a reputation. I spent years working across salons in Kingston, Jamaica, learning, observing, and quietly building something I didn’t even realise I was building at the time. One thing always stood out… the clients remembered me no matter where I worked, not just for how their hair looked when they left the chair, but for how they felt sitting in it.
In 2017, I started planting the idea that I could do this on my own. By 2019, I took the leap. No big team, no fancy setup. Just one Instagram page, a few Canva designs, and a belief that there was space for a different kind of hair experience. And something beautiful happened. The same clients I had once served in other salons found me again. They followed. They trusted me.
Naturally Natz JA was never just about styling hair. It’s about education, connection, and helping women understand what’s theirs. I don’t straighten. I don’t relax. I don’t alter what your hair is meant to do. I work with it. I teach you how to care for it. I remind you that your natural hair is not something to fix, it’s something to know. Because when you understand your hair, you carry yourself differently. And that confidence? That’s the real transformation.
